Printing Preferences

Preferences ->Printing changes the way the printout looks.

Colour changes the colour of the tab on the side of the anaesthetic record.

Print Resolution changes the time scale of the chart. All of the traces are median filtered with the specified time window, and printed at a resolution of one time window per pixel.

Patient Information On Every Page will print the patient label at the top of every page. If you are printing double sided and only want the label on every second page, deselect this option.

Choosing Instructions to Recovery on First Page allows you to print out simple recovery instructions. If you wish to use the full range of options for recovery instructions including prescriptions, choose Last Page.

You can also print blank chart space for use in recovery by adjusting the Print Recovery Chart Of slider.

If you enter a value into the Chart Name, it will be printed on the side of the anaesthetic record. If you leave it blank, the default set in the print template will be used.

The default template has been set up to try to meet most requirements. You can change this template by editing an SVG file. This is described in Custom Printouts.
